MIN 543: Educational Mission of the Church

This course explores the church's educational role within its own community and its role in the world. It considers both theoretical approaches and practical models for living out that mission. The Spring 2008 Syllabus is posted here.

MIN 560: Global Impact

Global Impact, the introductory course in the Intercultural Studies Curriculum examines a biblical theology of mission in light of ministry in the 21st Century world. Currently, the course is offered online and in residence.

MIN 565: Perspectives on the World Christian Movement

Perspectives is one of the finest missions courses available to both lay people and graduate students. GRTS, in partnership with the U.S. Center for World Missions, allows students to get graduate credit for the Perspectives course.

In Fall 2007, the Perspectives course will be offered at Grace Bible College GBC) on Monday evenings, beginning August 27. The Fall 2007 syllabus is here but it's still lacking the schedule. As soon as we receive it from GBC, it will be updated.  More information about payment/registration etc. is available through Diana in the seminary office.

 

MIN 660: Cultural Intelligence: Multicultural Understanding

The gospel is always mediated through culture. That brings an array of exciting, challenging responsibilities for every ministry leader. This course examines contextualization from a theological and sociological perspective and explores what it looks like to interact with cultures and subcultures.
