Cornerstone’s online library catalog has added some exciting, new features. "Library Thing for Libraries" (LTFL) was added on June 1st, bringing the fun and interactivity of Web 2.0. This means that most books in our online catalog now...
· Allow you to write your own book reviews and submit them to the catalog
· Include a linked list of “similar” books for your perusal
· Have tag words that are in the vernacular or more popular wording than authorized Library of Congress Subject Headings.
· Offer the ability to suggest tag words for books
· Contain book reviews from journals along with publisher descriptions; and
· Give you the opportunity to rate books as helpful or not so helpful, similar to Amazon.
Check it out for yourself. Perhaps you want some books on “culture, the emerging church, or postmodernism”—not typical Subject Headings in the Library of Congress system. However, several of our books will now carry those popular “tags.”
