The Master of Arts: Intercultural Ministries curriculum is designed to enable the student to:
1. Conduct basic biblical interpretation and application with reference to the English Bible texts.
2. State a basic understanding of the primary elements of Christian theology.
3. Demonstrate basic knowledge, values and competencies associated with spiritual, worldview and leadership formation.
1. Develop a philosophy and practice of mission which is informed by biblical, theological, and cultural perspectives.
2. Be skillful in demonstrating and facilitating cultural intelligence by seeing the influence of culture upon theological understanding, personal formation, and missional engagement.
3. Evaluate and apply traditional and emerging models of intercultural work and ministry.
4. Understand historical and contemporary demonstrations of how the church has related to culture and how the church has engaged in global mission.
5. Serve the global church by continual formation of one’s own character, embodying the gospel in both word and deed, and by partnering with various expressions of the local church all over the world.
