Theological Education for Professionals (TEP)

Program Description

You are an established professional in law, medicine, business, education, or another professional career. God is central to your life, and you hunger to possess a deeper knowledge of the Bible and truth. You recognize the value of lifelong learning, but your busy schedule does not allow you to take part in traditional learning contexts. Grand Rapids Theological Seminary has created Theological Education for Professionals (TEP) especially for professionals like you. This program extends to busy professionals the opportunity to take seminary courses, complete a certification program, or build the foundation for a seminary degree.

Delivery System

Core courses are offered during our fall and spring semesters and meet just one night per week (Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays 6:20p.m. -9:00p.m.). Each TEP student works with an academic advisor to ensure that the program is part of a high quality educational experience. TEP courses are taught by full-time faculty members of GRTS, and each core course is designed exclusively for adult professionals with an earned bachelor's degree.

Admissions

To be considered for the TEP program, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA. If you are interested in applying for this program, please contact Nate Clason at GRTS by phone (616-222-1442) or email. Nate will answer your questions and assist you with the application process.
