New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is designed to welcome you to the GRTS community and provide an overview of academic information, technology, Library resources, student life, and an individual meeting with your faculty advisor. Please R.S.V.P. to rosemary_a_vanryn@cornerstone.edu to confirm your reservation and provide the name of the guest who may attend with you. 

12:00-1:30 PM   MA Counseling Orientation
                           Required only of students enrolled in the 
                           MA Counseling Program. 

12:00-2:00 PM   Greek or Hebrew Advanced Placement Exam
                           Required only of students who have completed Greek or 
                           Hebrew language study at the undergraduate level and 
                           desire to receive advanced standing at GRTS.  Please 
                           contact the admissions office to register for the exam.

1:30-1:45 PM     Registration and Reception (Lobby)

1:45-2:00 PM     Greeting and Core Values

2:00-3:00 PM     Introductions and Institutional Orientation

New Student Checklist

1.  Apply for Financial Aid.

    Complete the following 2 forms:

Watch for an important email from GRTS about registration for classes for the upcoming semester. Reply to the email or call (800-697-1133) to register for classes.

3. Pay your bill.

After you register for spring classes, you will receive your bill by mail. Pay your bill before January 1:

4. Receive syllabi and purchase books.

By the end of December, Seminary Admissions will email your course syllabi to you. The Hoch Bookroom website also contains course syllabi and updates the list of required textbooks as they are provided by professors. 

5. RSVP for New Student Orientation.
