Ministry Residency Expressed through the CLC
The Contextual Learning Center (CLC) at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary is founded on an educational philosophy intent on encouraging students to extend their theological training into ministry environments.
Through residency programs CLC provides students the challenge and opportunity of enhancing their theological studies through hands-on service in a local, ministry context. There, under the intentional mentorship and accountability of Church and Para-church ministry leaders, students learn how to practically apply their theological knowledge in relevant, yet different social, economic and cultural communities.
