Training and Consulting
GLC offers training and consulting on issues related to mission.
Annual Symposium--Each year, GLC hosts a symposium on a topic related to mission in the 21st Century. The symposium includes sessions geared for senior and mid-level missions executives as well as other sessions for local church missions teams. Our next symposium is:
Local Church Mission--Workshops and Consulting sessions are available to assist churches with key areas related to mission, such as:
1. Mobilizing your congregation to be missional--locally and globally.
2. Creating a strategic plan for your church mission program.
3. Short-Term Mission trips training.
4. Cultural Intelligence training for multicultural ministry at home and abroad.
Contextualization--In partnership with Intersect, GLC helps leaders and ministries address issues of contextualizing programs and curriculum for use cross-culturally.
Leadership Training for Emerging Leaders--Intersect, in partnership with GLC, offers written resources, consulting, and learning communities for emerging ministry leaders.
